Greetings

Greeting

Representing a collective effort, the Korean Peninsula Infrastructure Forum establishes a common ground for discussion and sustainable development in infrastructure projects and collaborations throughout the peninsula.

Welcome to the official website of the Korean Peninsula Infrastructure Forum.

Launched on December 11, 2019, the Korean Peninsula Infrastructure Forum is a non-profit cooperation platform led by private organizations. We started with the autonomous participation of 422 individuals from 111 organizations across industry, academia, and professional institutions, united by the vision of shared prosperity in the Korean Peninsula through infrastructure cooperation. An operations committee consisting of 39 experts in planning, project management, technology, finance, law and public relations, is essential for inter-Korean cooperation. The committee include representatives from nine constructions and industrial companies, academic associations, and professional institutions that have entered into a multilateral agreement.

The primary roles of the Korean Peninsula Infrastructure Forum include establishing a foundation for development and cooperation, information sharing, issue identification and discussion, fostering international exchange and collaboration, and co-developing policies, systems, and technologies.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the Forum has achieved notable milestones, including the discovery of 22 cooperative themes, the creation of a Northeast Asia network, and the successful hosting of joint forums. Future plans of the Forum aims to build on these achievements with concrete and effective strategies, requiring active interest and participation from a wide range of stakeholders.

Core to the Forum’s mission are themes of envisioning the future, creating a shared vision, seeking practical solutions, discovering new policies, and driving forward key agendas.
Among our core values, cultivating a shared vision for the future emerges as the cornerstone of the Forum’s foundational values.

We sincerely look forward to your active interest and participation in the Korean Peninsula Infrastructure Forum. We look forward to embark on a journey towards a collectively prosperous future for the Korean Peninsula.

Thank you.
